Refunds and Returns.
We really hope you love every item you buy from Rubys Room, however we understand there may be occasions where you wish to arrange a return.
If you don’t love or are no longer in need of your purchase, you can return it to us for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of delivery. Please take care to keep all packaging until you are sure of your purchase, as we will be unable to accept returns without their original packaging.
Returned items must be in a resalable condition and you will be responsible for their safe return to us, including the cost of postage. We ask you notify us of your need to return within 14 days of receiving your order. Once we have this notice, we will arrange for the collection of your items and process your return. Once items are received, we will refund the cost of your item minus the cost of the return. Please note, this does not affect your statutory rights.
Items which require assembly.
Any items delivered that require assembly cannot be returned for a refund or exchange once they have been assembled. This is because any assembly process prevents us from being able to re-sell the furniture to another customer. This however does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty. We will offer a full refund for any items found to be faulty, once they are retuned to us.
When you receive items which require assembly we ask that prior to installing, you check the instructions and ensure you have all parts listed to assemble the item in accordance to the manufacturers instruction. We cannot refund products that have been wrongly built or fitted.
We hope you’d never have to deal with a faulty product from Ruby’s Room but in the rare occasion you believe your item to be faulty or delivered with imperfection, please contact our customer service team either via email: email@example.com or phone: 01642 433209 to organise a replacement order or a return.
We do ask that you to inspect your items as soon as they’re delivered to you and if fault is found, please contact our customer service team within 24 hours of receiving your order. When contacting us regarding a damaged item please provide as much detail as possible.
If your item is determined to be faulty, you will not be subject to any return fees.
We’re happy to offer you an exchange for an alternative item providing we have sufficient stock. To organise an exchange, please contact our customer service team who can help arrange this for you via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: 01642 433209. Please note, the responsibility of return postage costs for exchanges will fall to the customer.
You can arrange your return for an exchange through ourselves, however we will ask you to pay for the cost of return plus any additional payment toward the new item, if the cost is higher than your original purchase.
We accept exchanges within 14 days of your original delivery.
You can cancel your order for a full refund as long as your order is not yet dispatched. Once dispatched, cancellations will need to be processed as a return. We would require notice of return within 14 days of your delivery.
Once you have notified us of your need to return, we can arrange for your items to be collected and process your refund. Please note, you would be responsible for return postage costs and this will be deducted from your refund amount.
